I wanted to go for a character unrelated to My Little Pony for this one and was inspired by a Sculpey figure of Metal Gear REX I made a year or so ago, to have another go at him, in the form of a pony! The painting on this custom took by far longer than the sculpting and is probably the most detailed job I've done yet! His rail gun is made from Sculpey, which is cemented in place with Milliput.

Well, finished over a year ago actually but I only got to varnishing it the other day.. yeah, I don't catch on quick. He's made entirely from Sculpey clay, painted with good ol' trusty Tamiya acrylics and now coated in clear outdoor varnish.

This is one of my favourite makes yet, REX being my favourite video game robot ever. :D
